Director, Software Services Product MarketingWe are developing a revolutionary product experienceand seeks a talented and experienced leader who will drive the wireless service business and experience. This is a deeply collaboratave role, engaging with carrier marketing and some very special Engineering talent. The right candidate will spark the imagination of our carrier partners and end customers. Responsibilities: • Manage a team of 5-8 Product Managers delivering software components and managing partnerships. • The full product life cycle of service software applications and components. • Manage and execute on a multi-year roadmap for all services software. • Work closely with wireless carrier customers such as Sprint, Cingular, Verizon, Vodafone and Orange to understand requirements, negotiate features and alignment with their services. • Work closely with a cross-functional team including Hardware Product Management, Human Interface group, Engineering, Carrier Product Marketing, Business Development and Sales to define and deliver our service experience. • Manage strategic third party vendor relationships including defining partnership strategy, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing product development. • Serve internally and externally as lead representative and spokesperson for the company's service software strategy. • Manage the business of company's services • Delighting the customer Required Skills/Knowledge: • 12+ years of service delivery, wireless carrier experience, deep business experience, managing software projects involving cross-functional teams, and business analysis experience. • Ability to articulate design decisions and influence cross-functional teams. Instinct for finding the simplest and most pragmatic method to achieve a given design goal. • Ability to work both in a highly-collaborative environment with a healthy dose of humility. Education: • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, MBA Business. • The candidate will be judged primarily on work history, execution success and experience. Travel: • Moderate travel required |
